"I wrote in the guest book several months ago and would like to say that my son has now started hormone treatment and life is getting easier.  I would love to chat to parents of TS people and try to help, if i can, with this very difficult condition.  I have been lucky with the doctors and help i have received."

"I just wanted to say that this website has helped me alot to find out and understand more about my Dad who is going through a sex change.  It's made me realise that I'm not the only one!  Thanks."

"Our son has told us a month ago that he is a TS.  We have gone through a sense of loss, our son is going away, but we love her very much and will give all the support we can.  This web site is a valuable resource indeed.  Thank you."

"Thank you for the information ... I was just curious."

"I am the mother of a FTM trans person, aged 18, and would love to talk to other people in my situation. We have only known for a about two months and are waiting for an appointment to see a clinic about this. I have a husband, and a daughter aged 19, who are both finding this very difficult to understand. I feel I have a better understanding than them and try to learn more from the internet."

"I am the mother of a FTM, JIM.  I am finding life a bit difficult at the moment, trying to sort things out.  Whilst listening to his stories I find that my struggles are mild compared to his.  I have located 'Mermaids' and this site today and have pulled a lot of information to help me on 'our' journey.  I would love to speak to other parents and, in the meantime, thanks for this great source of information."

"What a good site!  My husband has just told me that he has Gender Dysphoria.  We have 2 children - aged 6 and 2.  I feel so alone at the moment, we are talking everyday, but I dont know what do do next.  I need to speak to people that have not had a good reaction to the news.  Most of the sites I've visited are for women that are still with their husbands or partners.  I dont know if I want to be with mine ... not in the long term.  If there is anyone like me, please could you find time to talk, thanks!"

"Oh, at last, a place where friends and family of transsexual people can find none bias information. I am a sister of a M2F trans person. My family and I have stood by her, all the way, but we are still having a hard job understanding. I would love to hear from other brothers and sisters in the same situation and thank you for this site."

"Great site recomended by a friend from The Gender Trust.  We have four children and have been together for 12 years and I have always known about Michelle.  If anybody would like to contact us it is it is no problem."

"Your site sounds to have so much to offer. I am a young mum of 2 boys, 6 and 4 years. My ex husband is currently living as a female prior to his gender reassignment. I would love to hear from others who have been in my situation. How they coped or didn't? I feel extremely alone, even though I have a loving family aroung me. If I can help in anyway, I will, as I feel that there is very little out there for partners or ex-partners."
